These are stressful times.  We are in the midst of a Presidential election that has far reaching consequences. The country is clearly very polarized, and the impact is reaching into workplaces, homes, and public forums in extreme ways.

As citizens of the United States, we have a solemn responsibility to form well researched and considered positions, and support them firmly.

At the same time, though, we each might benefit from taking a momentary step back and remembering who it is that is ultimately in control.  A loving Father, who holds galaxies on the tip of his finger, is at the helm.  We need live up to our responsibilities as citizens, but we are also blessed with the privilege of resting safely in the palm of His hand.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." `Isaiah 41:10
