Time to Go Back to Work Already!

I woke up today to my last day of Christmas break from work. How does this happen? Every year, the break flies by and I wonder where it went and what I accomplished with it. Sigh. If California were not in the midst of serious budget woes, I'd be back to work today. As it happens, today is a furlough day.

An accounting:

Accomplished:
Tons of veils made.
Five books read.
Family hosted for Christmas.
Curtains made for the guest bedroom.
Enjoyed spending husband's two-week vacation with him.

Planned but not accomplished:
Sort through all financial paperwork.
Plan Early Childhood Special Ed. speech therapy sessions for remainder of school year.

Planned and accomplished:
Do not wake up to an alarm for 21 days.

Based on the alarm item, I'm going to declare the whole endeavor a complete success.
